Houston Vintage is an organization that brings together vintage vendors and enthusiasts from Houston and the surrounding areas.
It's an opportunity for all of us who love and live vintage to exchange ideas, find some amazing treasures, learn through demos and lectures (styles, dances and culture), and celebrate all that is vintage through all the eras.

Giving Back
Every year Houston Vintage donates part of the proceeds from the event to a different local charity. This year, our charity is Kids' Meals whose mission it is to end hunger among children by delivering nutritious meals to the doors of children in need, free of cost, every weekday year round.
Past charities:
2012 - Cecelia Ingrid Johnson - Houston Vintage's donatation was applied towards a stem cell infusion for beautiful local artist Cecelia.
2011 - 11 1/2 Street Foundation - supports scholarships for socio-economically disadvantaged calculus students from Davis and Reagan High Schools.
2010 - Bo's Place - bereavement center offering grief support services to children and adults who have experienced the death of a child or an adult in their immediate family.
Volunteering
We could not put on this event without the help ouf our amazing volunteers...and this year, our fabulous volunteer organizer Brittany Bly (famed for her fun PopShop events).
Working one 2-hour shift will give you a free entry to both the preview party and day market, a discount from select vendors, and an invitation to our appreciation party. We currently need volunteers for the following shifts:
10/4 Preview party & fashion show - Odd fellows Lodge (in the Heights)
5pm - 7pm Set Up6:30pm - 8:30pm - Admissions or Beverages
8:15pm - 10:15pm - Admissions or Beverages
10pm - 11pm - Admissions or Beverages
11pm - 1am - Clean up
10/12 Festival/Market - 1940 Air Terminal Museum (close to Hobby airport)
9am - 11am - set up
10:30am - 12:30pm - Admissions or Beverages
12:15 - 2:15pm - Admissions or Beverages
2pm - 4pm - Admissions or Beverages
3:45pm - 5:45pm - Admissions or Beverages
5:30pm - 7pm - Admissions or Beverages
7pm - 9pm - Clean up
